Savory Roasted Almonds

If you’ve been reading for some time, you may remember this recipe for crunchy chickpeas: perfectly spiced and deliciously crunchy. I love recreating bar-style-snacks at home, and serving them for cocktail parties. Today I am featuring my newest obsession: savory roasted almonds. Heavenly! And so easy to make.
Ingredients for 12 cocktail snack servings:
2 cups raw almonds
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp herbs de provence
1 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a large bowl, coat almonds with olive oil, add dried spices and toss to coat well
- Place seasoned almonds on a cookie sheet fit with parchment paper or a silicone mat
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, shaking the cookie sheet every 5 minutes to evenly roast the almonds
- Season to taste with any additional spices
- Serve warm
