KRUPS SAVOY Coffee Maker

My old friend! Oh how I have missed you, coffee! I didn’t drink one sip of caffeine (coffee, soda, or tea) throughout my pregnancy. So when I delivered my baby girl in August, I was more than ready for a big cup of the good stuff.

My nana had a great love for coffee and I think of her each morning while I’m brewing my cup. She passed down a great tip for making coffee - something she learned from her mother - and I swear it makes the finished product so delicious. She taught me to add a pinch of regular table salt to the ground beans before brewing, simple as that. Heavenly!

When KRUPS contacted me asking if I would be interested in trying their new SAVOY coffee maker, I couldn’t resist. Not only is the machine beautiful, it’s durable but light as can be! I love that it has a 12 cup glass carafe - coffee for a crowd has never been easier!

I really love that you can set the warming temperature to your preference. I like really hot coffee, and this machine lets me keep the coffee hot even after I’ve served a cup or two.

You can also select “regular” or “bold” if you’d like to brew your coffee at normal strength or stronger. I use a variety of different beans, and this feature lets me customize my brew - some brands are just fine on the “normal” setting, where others I prefer on the “bold.” The final feature that is so convenient is the option for a small brew. While the carafe holds 12 cups, the machine can easily brew only 1-4 cups. With some larger capacity machines, it’s harder to brew a small amount which means you’ll likely need two coffee pots - one for crowds, and one for everyday use. In a New York City apartment kitchen, that’s a tall order. The SAVOY coffee maker really is a perfect machine.
